Welcome to Åke, our modern take on nightlife. Inspired by Tokyo’s karaoke culture and shaped by Nordic design, we’ve created a space where being together matters more than performing.
The open lounge sets the mood, while thoughtfully designed private rooms offer a more personal experience. Our private rooms are booked in flexible time slots and suit everything from intimate sing-alongs to celebrations worth remembering.

Can I visit without a reservation?
Yes. The lounge welcomes walk-in guests, subject to capacity. However, we recommend reserving a table in the lounge or booking a private room in advance if you want to guarantee entry, as the space is limited.
What is the difference between private rooms and the lounge?
PRIVATE ROOMS • Your own space for your group • Your own sound • Freedom to sing exactly how you want LOUNGE • An open, social space with shared karaoke • A more communal atmosphere You are free to move between your private room and the lounge during the evening. After your room booking ends, you are welcome to continue your night in the lounge. The lounge is available without a reservation subject to capacity, and you can also book a table there in advance.
How many people fit in the private rooms?
Room sizes vary. Smaller rooms are suitable for groups of 2 to 10 people, while the largest rooms can host up to 30 people. Exact capacities are listed in the room details.
How long is a booking?
Private room bookings start from a minimum of 1.5 hours. You may book for the entire evening within opening hours. If availability allows, extensions can often be arranged on-site.
What kind of song selection do you have?
We use Singa, which offers one of the world’s largest karaoke libraries. You can explore the catalog in advance via Singa and save your favorites before your visit. THE SELECTION INCLUDES • International hits • Finnish classics • Pop, rock, hip hop, ballads, and guilty pleasures The library is wide and constantly updated.
Can we order drinks to the private rooms?
Yes. Drinks can be ordered from the bar or via the in-room tablet. The lounge bar is open throughout the evening.
Can I host a private party at Åke?
Absolutely. We recommend it. Weekends in particular fill up quickly. Walk-ins are welcome in the lounge if capacity allows.

Up-to-date opening hours can be found on our website and on Google Maps. Hours may be extended depending on demand.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. An accessible restroom is located on the same floor. Step-free access is available via a ramp through the inner courtyard.
When does the booking calendar open?
The calendar for the following month opens on the first day of the previous month. FOR EXAMPLE April bookings open on March 1. As an exception, February and March are both opened during late January or early February.
Can I bring my own food?
No outside food is allowed. Cakes or other food deliveries must be agreed on in advance. Catering can also be arranged through us for private events.
What is the age limit?
The age limit is 18. A valid ID is required for entry.
